Job Description:
We’re looking for a Point of Sale Installations and Training Consultant to join our team. This critical role involves managing installations, providing training, and delivering exceptional service to our clients from the initial quote to final sign-off.
Key Responsibilities:
Service & Installation:
– Achieve and exceed installation and service targets.
– Follow up on leads to secure professional service orders.
– Identify and pursue new service opportunities with guidance from the Professional Services Manager.
Customer Engagement:
– Understand and address customer needs with tailored technical solutions.
– Log and manage customer interactions in our CRM system.
– Build and maintain strong customer relationships while explaining the benefits of TallOrder POS.
– Process orders and quotes efficiently via email or phone.
Training & Support:
– Conduct thorough training sessions on hardware and software.
– Provide post-installation support and ongoing assistance to customers.
– Assess and resolve customer issues, escalating when necessary.
– Stay updated on software and hardware enhancements.
Reporting & Communication:
– Submit monthly service reports and share customer feedback with the team.
– Collaborate with sales and professional services teams to ensure smooth installations.
Requirements:
– Minimum 3 years of experience in hospitality or SaaS roles.
– Proven expertise in installations, training, and customer service.
– Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
– Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
– Proficiency in CRM systems and a commitment to exceptional service.
– Must own a car and have a valid driver’s license and passport.
Additional Information:
– Position Type: Full-time, with occasional travel required.
– Location: Based in Johannesburg, South Africa with flexibility to travel as needed.
